We offer three trainings per week from August through April with a focus on fundamental development, two thousand touches a day and a possession style of play.

Style of Play

At ISA, our style of play is built on a foundation of possession with high-press principles. We aim to control the game through fast-paced ball movement, using possession to unbalance opponents and create opportunities to penetrate. While we look to impose our style, we also recognize the demands of the game—our teams are prepared to counterattack when the moment is right and adjust tactically based on level, opponent, and match situation.

Adaptability is one of our greatest strengths. We prioritize educating players to read the game, make decisions under pressure, and understand when to control tempo or attack with urgency. Our teams are encouraged to play with purpose—maintaining strong positional structure while committing numbers around the ball to regain possession high up the field. From there, we attack quickly, exploiting space with speed, intelligence, and intent.

Our player development is centered around technical mastery through repetition, tactical awareness, and the ability to recognize and exploit space. We focus on unbalancing opponents through coordinated patterns of play, while building confidence in players to attack the goal with numbers and pace.

Coaching Philosophy

At ISA, a great coach is someone who motivates and develops athletes through observant, knowledgeable, and purposeful communication—delivered with clarity, positivity, and accountability. Our coaches understand that development goes beyond the field; it’s about building trust, setting standards, and pushing players to reach their potential every day.

Coaching at ISA is not limited to a few hours of team training each week. We take the time to truly understand each player—how they think, how they learn, their strengths, areas for growth, and their individual goals. By connecting with our athletes both on and off the field, we are able to develop not just better players, but confident leaders who understand the game.

Our staff is made up of passionate, driven coaches supported by experienced leadership behind the scenes—individuals who have built and developed successful programs and coaches for years. While licensing and experience matter, what sets ISA apart is our commitment to building well-rounded, tactically intelligent, and hard-working players who can perform at the highest levels.

In addition to team training, we incorporate small-group sessions and technical development into our core curriculum. This allows us to focus on repetition, refinement, and individualized growth within our program. Our belief is simple: if players need to look elsewhere for development, we are not doing our job. At ISA, everything we do is designed to provide a complete and intentional pathway for every athlete.
